Keratosis Pilaris-update

It has been a little over four months since my last KP post. Well I am happy to announce that other then the light spots that I have left; my skin is 95% smooth. I still have a few tiny bumps that are no where near as hard and dark as they used to be. My arms look and feel so much better.

I mentioned in my first KP post that there is no silver bullet. Since Dec. 2nd I have reduced my dairy intake. The only dairy I still eat is organic butter and just recently I had some cream cheese. I drink lots of water, Silk Almond milk, and occasionally I will have a cup of tea. I eat organic rolled oatmeal every morning, eggs with avocado, hummus, and toast for lunch, and Quinoa and vegetables with either chicken or beef for dinner. On occasion I'll eat raw veggies or a almond butter and blackberry sandwich for lunch. For dinner I sometimes eat spaghetti and meat or tacos. I am sure it is the combination of things that I am doing and eating that is helping to get rid of my KP.
